West Virginia Civic Life Institute

General Information

Date and time: The institute sessions run from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm on
Monday, June 21, and from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Tuesday, June 22.

Location: All events will be held on the campus of the University of
Charleston, 2300 MacCorkle Avenue SE, Charleston, West Virginia.

Fees: Registration fees of $95 cover all costs of materials (including
current issue books, a moderator's manual, and resource materials) and
meals (lunch and dinner on Monday and breakfast and lunch on
Tuesday). Campus housing is available for $30 per night.

Registration deadline: Registrations and payments must be received
by June 15, 2004. If space is available, registrations may be accepted
after this date, but please call to discuss your request.

Fee reductions and waivers: A limited number of fee reductions and
waivers are available based on financial need. Early requests are
strongly advised. Call 304-344-3430 for more information.

Cancellations and refunds: A refund can be granted (minus a $15
processing fee) until June 15. After that date, a substitute participant
may be designated.

Continuing education units: Social Work CEU’s are available through
WVU. CEU's are also available through the University of Charleston.
